Chinkapin Oak Cask Rum

Matured in a rare Chinkapin oak cask for two years and bottled at the cask strength of 57.5% ABV.

Natural colour, non-chill filtered, no added sugar.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Raisins, caramel and sweet brown sugar and marzipan are the top notes, backed up by a herbal funk, a whisper of oily cedar wood and smouldering wood.

Palate: A sweet velvety approach filled with vanilla, marzipan leading to a buttery, caramel-rich mid palate and then onto a medium long finish with warming spiciness, sweet pear drops and a smoky herbal funk.
